Northmoreland Baptist Church is a Christ-centered church in Northmoreland Township, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania. We are roughly 8 miles from Dallas, 12 miles from Tunkhannock, and 10 miles from West Wyoming, along with other nearby communities.

Our gatherings are accessible for the entire family.

Mobility

Handicapped parking spaces are near the church doors. These spaces are clearly marked. Our building is on one level and can easily accommodate those with limited mobility. Our building is wheelchair-accessible.

Hearing Impairment

Assistive listening devices are available from an usher during Sunday services.

Sunday Morning Worship Services

We gather together for corporate worship Sunday mornings at 10.00 am. A nursery is provided.

Singing

Join us as we sing or sing traditional and contemporary worship music that exalts our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We seek to live out Colossians 3:16 by "singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in [our] hearts to God."

Scripture Reading

Listen as the Word of God is read aloud, for "faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ." (Romans 10:17).

Expository Preaching

We seek to glorify God through the expository preaching of His Word. This teaching allows us to better read and understand Scripture contextually. It also instructs on how to apply it to our lives.

Sunday Evening Services

Sunday evening service is from 6:00-7:00 PM. The messages are preached by our pastor and sometimes those who are being trained, as they teach the whole counsel of Scripture one book at a time.

Olympians and Gopher Buddies 6:00-7:30

Sunday Night is a family-oriented night. It is a great opportunity to connect. Typically, parents drop their children off at Olympians and Gopher Buddies, attend the evening service, and interact with one another. It is also a great opportunity to visit and check us out.

Newcomers’ Class

Each quarter we host a newcomers' orientation class to give those who are new to Northmoreland the opportunity to learn about our church. At this class, you will learn about our purpose, values, beliefs, and the many ministry opportunities available at Northmoreland to connect and serve. This is a great first step if you are considering Northmoreland as your church home. The class will meet for three consecutive Sunday mornings.
