 International Outreach

International Outreach is a ministry of Northmoreland Baptist Church to equip, send, and shepherd our missionaries as they endeavor to make disciples of all nations by means of evangelism, discipleship, church planting and strengthening, leadership training, and Bible translation, through the local church unto the glory of God through Jesus Christ.

The mission of the church is the Great Commission, to make disciples of all nations unto the glory of God through Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18–20). The book of Acts and the epistles of the New Testament demonstrate endeavor is carried out through the ministry of the local church (Acts 2:43–47; 9:31; 11:26; 14:23; 1 Timothy 3:15). God has clearly chosen the church as His primary instrument in this age to make known “the manifold wisdom of God” (Eph. 3:10). So, the thrust of our missions ministry, both within the United States and abroad, is to participate in the establishment of Christ-centered, gospel-focused, indigenous local assemblies led by trained national pastors.

Therefore, the mission of the church is to proclaim Christ, seeking to establish and strengthen local churches. Grace Church and GMI are committed to a focus upon church planting, church strengthening and development of indigenous church leadership who will continue the work of the Great Commission to other regions.

Global Missions

We partner with equipped and shepherded missionaries who make disciples of all nations by means of evangelism, discipleship, church planting, church strengthening, and leadership training to the glory of God through Jesus Christ.

Currently we partner with 9 missionary families serving in 8 countries and 4 missionary families serving in the US.

Local Outreach

Our Local Outreach ministry seeks to instruct and equip our members in the obedient and joyful pursuit of that Great Commission by taking the Gospel to our community. We describe Biblical evangelism as:

  • God-centered rather than man-centered,

  • Theology-driven rather than method-driven,

  • Discipleship-oriented rather than decision-oriented, and

  • Time-redeeming.
